Mizoram CM Zoramthanga presents budget 2022-23 with an outlay of Rs 14,008.15 cr
- Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga presented the annual budget of the state for the financial year 2022-2023 with a total outlay of Rs. 14,008.15 crore, which is Rs 2,859.26 crore higher than the budget estimate of 2021-2022.
- Out Of the total Rs 14,008.15 crore budget estimate, 28.57 percent (Rs 4,001.64 cr ) has been earmarked for capital expenditure, while the revenue expenditure accounts for 71.43 per cent (Rs 10,006.51 cr) of the total budget
- The chief minister also presented supplementary demands for grants for the financial year 2021-2022 amounting to Rs 6,025.44 crore.
- There is no proposal for levying new taxes or enhancing tax rates in the new budget.
- Revenue Receipt of 2022-23 is Rs 11,426.21 crore.
