Global brokerage firm Morgan Stanley has lowered Indias gross domestic product (GDP) growth forecast for the current financial year to 7.6 percent from 7.9 percent for FY2023.
It stated that slowdown in global growth, higher commodity prices and risk aversion in global capital markets expose Asias third-largest economy to downside risks.
The baseline forecast for India is 7.6 per cent growth for FY23, its bearish and bullish growth projections are 6.7 per cent and 8 per cent, respectively.
